Lisa Amani, RYT
Lisa earned her first yoga certification in Integral YogaTM at
the world-renowned Satchidanada Ashram, known also as Yogaville, in
Buckingham Virginia in the Spring of 1996. She earned her second
yoga certification in Sadhana Yoga Chi in July of 2005 with yoga
master Doug Swenson to expand her body of knowledge in the infinite
practice of yoga. Upon
completion of her training almost ten years ago, Lisa began her
professional practice, conducting a variety of programs, for groups
and private clients in settings around the world. In January of
1999, yoga saved Lisa's life, quite literally. She used yoga to heal
devastating injuries to her spine sustained in a motor vehicle
accident. Lisa knows first-hand that yoga can heal one's body, mind,
and spirit. She believes in guiding others to use yoga to change,
and heal their own lives.
Andrea Dyer,
RYT
Andrea, a
self-described "yoga-holic," took her first yoga class
in college and became a dedicated student of multiple yoga styles
in the mid-90's. A dedicated teacher, Andrea finds bliss in
sharing yoga and is inspired by everyone she meets on her yogic
path. Andrea's classes are influenced by the teachers that have
inspired her practice: Paul Grilley, Sarah Powers, David Romanelli,
Cyndi Lee, Baxter Bell, and Nicholai Bachman. Andrea loves
to experience yoga where ever she travels - her favorites are At
One Yoga in Phoenix, AZ and OM Yoga in NYC. These studios are her
happy places away from home, but her favorite place to practice is
in Lindley Park in Greensboro.
Andrea was the
mind/body coach for the Vipers Wrestling club where she practiced
yoga with 5-18 year old athletes - helping them become focused
athletes through goal setting, positive affirmations and
meditation.
Andrea is currently
working toward her 500 hr. certification with Stephanie Keach at
the Asheville Yoga Center in Asheville, NC.
You can take classes
with Andrea at the Yoga Cafe in Greensboro, NC. www.theyogacafe.bix
